PRODUCTION OF EGGS AND MILK INCREASED IN Q3, WHILE OF MEAT – DECREASED Posted on: 10-12-2014
Sakstat published preliminary data, according to which eggs’ production has reached 118.8 million in the 3rd quarter. If compared to the same period of 2013, the number is increased by 7.32%. Milk production has amounted to 185.8 million l (year-on-year growth – 3.28%), while meat production – 9,000 t (reduction – 3.23%). In turn, as of October 1, livestock made up 1.33 million heads (growth – 6.13%). Number of pigs made up 260,500 (reduction – 20.14%), while sheep and goats – 1.02 million (growth – 7.52%). Poultry stock made up 9.65 million heads (year-on-year growth – 12.63%).
