 Itzik Moshe, head of Israeli-Georgian Business Chamber declares that 2 hotels in Tbilisi, 2 agricultural processing plants and one hi-tech enterprise will be build with Israeli investments. Agreement on these 5 projects was signed within the frame of Georgia-Israel Business Forum, he says. Israel has particular interest in investing in Georgian agriculture business, as due to Association Agreement, signed with EU, European market is already opened for Georgian agro-production, the article notes. Namely, Israeli businessman Yasha Igula is interested in agriculture sector and real estate. He makes investments in Georgia since 2006 and has laid out kiwi plantation in Supsa (Guria region). We hope to gather in 2015 the first harvest of 1,800 t, he declares. Another Israeli businessman, Dori Belfas, plans to invest in Georgian tourism, hotel business and financial sector. He has already selected two hotels in Tbilisi, on Marjanishvili Street and Rustaveli Avenue, in which plans to invest $3 million. Itzik Shavid, representative of IB Group in Georgia, plans to start a project in Mtskheta, investing $3 million there. “Residential building will be constructed and apartments will be sold to local residents.
