Study and Work

Part time work –

Yes, students may work a maximum of 16 hours a week in the Netherlands. In reality, students labor two hours a week in addition to their academics. Students are permitted to work full time and be paid a full time wage throughout the holidays. The legal workweek limit in the Netherlands is 60 hours, with a maximum shift length of 12 hours.

Post study permit -

The Post-Study Work Permits, also known as the Search/Orientation Year or 'zoekjaar' in Dutch, are the most noticeable. 'Orientation Year' residence permit, good for one year. International graduates who can demonstrate five years of valid residence, adequate Dutch language proficiency, and awareness of Dutch culture may apply for permanent residency.

Spouse visa –

Using an MVV (Authorization for Temporary Stay), the spouse can enter the Netherlands. The 90-day MVV validity period. You must be a non-Nederlander with a current work permit to be eligible to apply.
