1st Level is Bachelor- Bachelor ends with degree “Bakalár” (abbreviation Bc.)

International students can apply for part-time jobs while they study, to earn extra income to cover their expenses in the country. Students with a student residence permit can work part-time for 20 hours per week as long as student remain enrolled in a study program in the country.

International students from EU member states and Slovak students can study for free at state and public universities. The cost of tuition for non-EU students is between 2000 and 5000 EUR per academic year.
As long as they have a student residence permit, international students are allowed to work in Slovakia while they pursue their education. With this permit, university students can work up to 20 hours a week in a part-time capacity.
